| Adult ECS parasitoids are very small (0.5-1.0 mm.). There wings have relative long setae at the edges. There color is yellow-brown. |
| Biology |
| Encarsia citrina paratises al kinds of hard-scales as: Abgralaspis cyanophylli, Aspidiotus- Chrysomphalus-, Diaspis-species, Pinnaspis aspidistrae, Pseudalacaspis cockerelli and Hemiberlesia Their developmental time is 3-4 weeks. They can lay up to 80 eggs in two week. Paratised scales become darker or have a small hole when the Encarsia has emerged. |

| ECS are packed as adults in a small cup. They can be used at temperatures between 18-30 oC. |
